MP73a
MP73a:
The MP73A is a one-channel vintage style microphone, line and instrument preamplifier for for use with any 500 Series chassis. The signal path uses all discrete circuitry. The inputs and outputs are transformer balanced, using two different transformers, each one optimized for its purpose. Great for use on vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards or any other instrument. The circuit used in the MP73A is similar to the preamp section in the classic 1073 module with a sound character that is warm, punchy, sweet and musical. This classic sound has been heard on countless recordings through the years and works well on most sound sources and in most genres. With the MP73A, this sound is now available at a cost nearly anyone can afford.
